Students must also meet all required enrollment criteria for Colorado Connections Academy, including age limitations and immunizations requirements, and have access to a reliable internet connection in a safe learning environment.
How Much Does Online School in Colorado Cost?
As an online public school, Colorado Connections Academy is tuition-free, which includes text books and curriculum. Families are responsible for the costs of school supplies, in-person field trips, and for providing their own internet access. However, a hardship internet service subsidy may be provided, as well as a computer, if eligible.

In-person college visits and a virtual "Future Focus Week" with presentations on post-secondary options and virtual college tours/presentations
National Honor Society for grades 10–12, and National Junior Honor Society for grades 7–8
In-person prom open to 11th and 12th grade students

How Long Has Colorado Connections Academy Been Operating?
Colorado Connections Academy was established in 2002, with the mission of helping “each student maximize his or her potential and meet the highest performance standards through a uniquely individualized learning program.”
Is Colorado Connections Academy Accredited?
When your child attends Colorado Summit Connections Academy or Colorado Connections Academy @ 27J, they’ll be attending a state-accredited public school where they can meet all of the Colorado educational and high school graduation requirements.
These Colorado Connections Academy schools are accredited by the State of Colorado under state law as a statewide online school.
While Colorado Summit Connections Academy and Colorado Connections Academy @ 27J are not currently accredited by NCA CASI, Connections Academy schools are supported by Connections Education LLC, dba Pearson Online & Blended Learning, which is accredited by Cognia.
